An Introduction from a Drug Testing Adviser

First, I want to welcome you to the Testclear Blog. Since Blogs are becoming a way of communicating with people I only thought it would be appropriate that we start one focusing on what it is like being a Drug Testing Adviser to tens of thousands of people all over the world.

Many people think what we do here is politically incorrect but this Blog will give me an opportunity to help those people see, "The other side of the barn" so to speak. If you are one those that believe that everyone should be drug tested then I am sure there will be some good debate here.

But I am hoping that I can at least garner your attention for a short while and explain to you that all drug testing is political, and examining a person's bodily fluids to determine whether they can do a job is something straight out of George Orwell's, "1984". We spend a good of our life going to school and then attending a trade school or college. We obtain degrees and certification in hopes of becoming qualify to be a productive member of society by having a job and paying taxes and living our lives as we see fit.

Many people are led to believe that only the darkest elements of society need our services, but that simply is not the case. I talk to people all the time who are raising a family, making mortgage payments, and participating in the American Dream. And then they are faced with risking it all because of a society invention called, "The Drug Test".

The battle cry for 'Drug Testing' began in the name of safety. No one wants to ride in airplane whose pilot is on drugs, but the fact of the matter is that even the cashier that works at Wal-mart is being drug tested, and that marijuana can be detected up to 90 days. Now something is very fishy here, and we should not be terminating a person's employment for something done 90 days ago.

Most people would be very surprised of the wide array of people that we have helped with our products which includes Fortune 500 executives, professional athletes, and even an Oscar winner. However, the majority of people are hard working people such as yourself.

I have come to personally realize by experience that a person that by all indications can be a candidate of parent of the year, but upset the wrong person (ex-husband, relative, ex-friend, school teacher, etc.) and a parents life can be turned upside down and devestate children with fear of losing a parent, home and school if child protective services come in and decide; with no proof besides an annonymous phone call; that for whatever reason the caller may have given, you are no longer qualified to be a parent. In this case, the allegation is drug use. Having worked in a lab, and witnessing the mistakes, wrong results from various reasons having nothing to do with the specimen containing drugs. Example, I once tested positive for LSD on a routine test included in a yearly lab workup in which my family physician just happened to include in all his yearly lab workups. Needless to say, I demanded a retest since I had taken my daily anti-depressant, vitamins and maybe an OTC medication during the weeks prior to being tested and (have done other substances years before this time) but had never touch LSD. It made me realize that if this had been for a job or any other important reason, my life could have been change dramatically. Anyway, back to the CPS thing. I did make someone upset at me enough to call them knowing that my children mean everything to me and is the one way to hurt me for revenge. I have done some things here and there on the weekends my children are with their father and am now faced with having to take an observed test and am very afraid of what the results may end up showing. I guess I am writing to ask for advice on the best way to make sure everthing comes out clean. What I have done recently amounts to a little cola, vicodin for pain and Klonopin (benzo) and am worried. Could you make some suggestions for me. I have never abused or neglected my children and am really afraid of what may happen. I hope to hear from someone soon! Thank you. D.Q.

I feel that the drug testing they are doing is unconstitutional and an invasion of our privacy. Whats next?
