Armed robbery, controlled substances, evidence, idrugs, fee assessment

Kenneth N. Washington appeals a lower court ruling and sentences for two counts of armed robbery with a firearm, arguing a lack of evidence, probation errors, costs and liens.

The Circuit Court of Hardee County, Fla. had ruled against Washington and assessed a series of probation conditions, including those that forbid him from owning or possessing firearms and that required him to pay for testing and treatment of controlled substances.

Washington loses. The Second District Court of Appeals affirmed lower court judgment and sentences, but reversed the order on attorney's lien and striked certain conditions of probation on the grounds that they were special conditions that were not pronounced orally.
