Case Summary:
Dorothy Jennings, an employee of the Uniroyal Plastics Company, brings a discrimination suit against the company. Jennings claims to be the victim of racial discrimination and retaliation by company officials upset with her for filing complaints with federal authorities. Jennings was once dismissed by the company, but an arbitrator ordered her reinstatement. Jennings contends that subsequent disciplinary action against her was a form of retaliation.
