Case Summary:
Five defendants in a case involving conspiracy to traffic drugs and other related charges appeal their convictions and subsequent sentences. The defendants all were involved in several cocaine sales to undercover law enforcement officers during a two-month investigation in Missouri.
Decision of lower jurisdiction:
A U.S. District Court found the defendants guilty on numerous charges including drug trafficking and possession of firearms during the commission of a crime. The defendants now appeal.

The defendants lose. The U. S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit rejected the defendants assertion that the lower court erred in handing down sentences for the convictions. The appeals court affirmed the actions of the lower jurisdiction.
