Case Summary:
Officials at Catering Management Inc., appeal a state board's decision to grant workers' compensation benefits to an employee. The employee, Mary Sheridan, worked as a bartender at a company establishment called the First Avenue Bar & Grill. Shortly after the company sprayed the facility with a pesticide, Sheridan began complaining of severe skin irritations and other ailments she believed were linked to the pesticide.
