Taco Time terminated Delaney for refusing to sign the statement. Delaney subsequently filed suit for wrongful discharge.
Decision of lower jurisdiction:
A trial court jury found for Delaney and awarded punitive damages and damages for emotional distress. Taco Time appealed the ruling. An appeals court reversed the jury ruling. Delaney now appeals.
