Appellant Melvin Griffin challenges the revocation of his probation and a court order to serve 60 days in jail for violating his probation. Sentenced to probation after a forgery conviction, Griffin pleas for more intensive probation that would allow him to retain his job.

Williams County Circuit Court found that Griffin violated his probation, in part, by moving his residence without informing his probationary officer, by not visiting his probationary officer regularly as required and by using marijuana. The court ordered Griffin to serve 60 days in jail.

Griffin loses. The Court of Criminal Appeals of Tennessee at Nashville affirmed the trial court's decision.
