Case Summary:
Dan Carney, a former employee of the Sabine Contracting Corporation, appeals a lower court's ruling in his against the company. Carney was dismissed after he failed to adequately complete the company's employment application. Carney filed a wrongful termination suit.

A Harris County District Court granted the company's motion for summary judgment. Carney now appeals.
 
Outcome:
Carney wins. The Texas Court of Appeals reversed the decision of the lower jurisdiction and remanded the case for additional review. The court stated that the company failed to provide sufficient evidence at trial to warrant a summary judgment.
