This testing facility was dirty/filthy. Ever hear of a vacuum cleaner? Besides that... you go in, show a picture ID and sign drug screen authorization. They lock up your purse, backpack or any other item you are carrying in a cabinet and give you the key. They add dye to the toilet and turn off the water in the restroom you are using. Atleast you are given a little privacy and are able to pee in private. (atleast, for a pre-employment drug screen) There is instant results provided by the technician (I tested positive for opiates - with a valid prescription) so they stated the urine would be sent for additional review. They stated I would be contacted by "their" doctor usually within 48 hours regarding the positive results and would not accept my prescription records on site which ended up delaying my "start date." Proactively, I contacted my doctor to obtain a list of all my prescribed medications so I would have them when they contacted me. The lab/doctor never contacted me regarding my prescription records or positive test result. I did receive a call from this employer stating that my drug screen was fine and started working there, albeit, 5 days later than originally planned but truthfully, I was VERY uncomfortable with the fact that there was not any follow up from the lab or doctors regarding my pain medication and positive drug test. This company is relying on accurate drug-screening and proper follow up and there was none. I contacted the lab 4 days after my test and they said someone should be contacting me. They did not. I guess, if you have something to hide, sloppy testing practices etc may be beneficial to you, however, they could have easily screwed up the other way too and fail a clean, drug-free person or pass a person who uses drugs illegally.
