They use a very accurate urine test for the pre-employment drug screen. It detects opiates, cocaine, ectasy, amphetamines, barbituates, and THC. I failed my screen even though I used a premium liquid detox product. THC was detected in my urine sample and the interviewers knew it within five minutes! They don't even have to send it to a lab. Of course THC stays with you the longest because it binds itself to your fat cells. They told me my only alternative was to get a blood test done from my doctor and if I passed it to have him fax the results to them. But I fear that my initial failure would cause me to be retested countless times in the future. The best policy is to really get clean and stay that way! |
