Urine test given a day before hiring (unknown if basic or extended); people have been fired for failing random tests-a computer picks about 10 names from the database each month (plant has about 1600 workers) and they have to test. Chances of you getting one is small, and a friend said he's been randomly tested twice in 20 years. Will also test you on suspicion (smell of cannabis). Alcohol is supposed to be detected in the urine test too, but uknown if true. They do breath tests and tongue strips if alcohol is suspected (smell on breath), but is not part of pre-employment screening. |
