Saliva Drug Test

A saliva drug test can be passed through using mouth cleansing mouthwashes or other detoxifying agents.

One type of drug test that is gaining in popularity is the saliva drug test. This is partly because this drug test does not require that the testers come in contact with other body fluids, like blood or urine. Another major advantage of this test is that it is quick and easy to do, since usually the sample is taken simply by swabbing the inside of your mouth.

Usually, since the saliva drug test is the easiest type of test to give, this is the type of test that you will have to take if you have unscheduled drug tests. If you’re worried that your employer is going to give unscheduled drug tests then there are only a few things that you can do. Probably the best option is to make sure that you carry an emergency plan just in case you’re going to be called upon to take a saliva drug test.

Your best bet is a small bottle of a mouth cleansing agent. This product will help get rid of any traces of drugs that you might have in your mouth by cleaning out the saliva and making sure that your saliva glands stop for about 30-40 minutes. What this means is that since the drug test can only detect drugs from your saliva, if there’s nothing in your mouth for the saliva drug test to test, then there will be a negative test result.

Even if you think that you’ve stopped taking drugs long enough before your saliva drug test that there is no threat, you may still want to have a bottle of this solution with you just in case.

There are other products that you can use to make sure that you always get a negative result on a saliva drug test. For example, there are quick, detoxifying pills that you can take, which will help flush the drugs out of your system, and therefore make sure that you do not have any of the substances that the test will detect in your saliva on the day of the test.

While the pills sound like they might work, the mouthwash is probably one of your best options, if only because it works so quickly. If you have a saliva drug test that is scheduled far in advance, there will obviously be more options available to you. However, if you’re going to be surprised, then the mouthwash can help prevent a saliva drug test from being a major disaster.
