Drug Test
It’s more common for people to be forced to take a drug test by employers, coaches, or even parents and other family members. Even though it’s clearly an invasion of privacy, it seems like almost every major employer requires a drug test of some kind before they will hire. It’s not just employers, either. It’s becoming more and more likely that the average person will have to take a drug test before engaging in certain activities or getting a job.
People who are not applying for a job may still be subjected to a drug test. In fact, lots of different companies are marketing a simple and easy to use drug test to parents. This drug test is designed so that parents can test their teenagers and make sure that their teenagers are drug free. Since this test is so easy to use, it’s possible that some teenagers could even be subjected to a drug test without their knowledge. The most reliable type of a drug test will require that the test sample be sent in and checked by an accredited drug testing lab. However, there are some drug tests that can give results without sending in the sample.
These tests come in several different forms. For a urine drug test, either a cup can be used, or a dip test. These tests can be purchased separately, or parents could buy panel drug test, which allows for testing of several different kinds of drugs at once. Most parents are going to use the drug test that does not require lab testing. Therefore, if you think that you might be tested either by family members, it’s important to remember that the test is not accurate and can give false positives. You should also try to make sure that you always know ahead of time when you’re going to be tested, since this knowledge will make it easier for you to prevent a positive test result. Some parents and family members will buy a drug test that requires them to send in a test sample.
The unfortunate result of this is that a lot of people end up breaking the law in order to find out whether or not a family member or friend is taking drugs. How do they do this? Most companies that sell and advertise these drug tests do not mention that it is actually illegal to send items that may contain banned substances (like drug test results) through the mail. Luckily, if you do find out ahead of time whether or not you’re going to be given a drug test (either for work, athletics, or by parents), there are ways to avoid a positive test. You can do anything from a quick detox to purchasing drug free urine like the Powdered Urine Kit, but either way, you should stand a pretty good chance of preventing a false positive, or keep the test from detecting any illegal or prescription drugs that you may have been exposed to.
